Tom Pattinson is a British editor, writer, journalist and media consultant working across culture, travel, whisky, luxury and positive change.

He has launched, edited and reshaped publications in the UK, China and Scandinavia, launching Time Out Beijing, Vogue Scandinavia and Barley Media. Currently editor of Positive News, his writing has appeared in titles including The Observer, Elite Traveler, The Sunday Times, Wanderlust and many more, with interviews and profiles spanning activists, actors, musicians, distillers, founders and cultural figures.

He is also the creator of hit podcast Ghislaine, which was featured in The Times and The New York Times.

Alongside his editorial work, Tom consults for brands in the retail, drinks and hospitality sectors on marketing, communications and editorial strategy. He helps businesses define their story, sharpen their tone, build audiences and create real, credible content.

He also works with publishers, founders and creative teams to launch, build and lead editorial projects, from magazines and digital platforms to podcasts, partnerships, campaigns and live events.
